Minimum 60% of the points
Initial certification
- Completed a Scaffold Inspector training course with an accredited VSB trainer.
or - Is in possession of a valid or expired personal certificate 1st Scaffolding Fitter that is registered in the central diploma register SSVV. This applies to the 1st Scaffolding Fitter who progresses to Scaffolding Inspector.
or - Is in possession of a valid or expired personal certificate VBS2 that is registered in the central diploma register SSVV.

Our scaffolding exams consist of both theory and practice, so you are well prepared to earn your certificate with confidence. The exam consists of a theory exam with open questions, multiple choice questions and practical assignments. You have 150 minutes to answer the questions and demonstrate your competence. You will be tested on the knowledge and skills required to function as an inspector, including the correct application of safety regulations and the performance of inspections on scaffolding structures.
