Expert Asbestos Analyst (DAA)

During the DAA exam you demonstrate that you can analyze asbestos safely and accurately in a laboratory environment.
Your knowledge of analysis methods, legislation and safety is central.
Participation requires appropriate prior education and experience in asbestos analysis.
Expert Asbestos Inventory Specialist (DIA)
The DIA exam focuses on recognizing, assessing and reporting asbestos applications. You will be tested on legislation, risk assessment and the preparation of inventory reports.
A completed education and relevant practical experience are required for participation.
Expert Asbestos Supervisor (DTA)

The DTA exam tests your knowledge and skills in supervising asbestos removal.
You must demonstrate that you can assess situations correctly and manage them in a safe manner.
Participation requires a valid DAV certificate, work experience and a
VCA-VOL diploma.
Expert Asbestos Remover
(DAV-2)

During the DAV-2 exam you demonstrate that you can remove asbestos independently and according to protocol.
The exam consists of theoretical and practical components and focuses on risk management and working methods.
A DAV-1 certificate and work experience are required for participation.
Expert Asbestos Remover
(DAV-1)

The DAV-1 exam tests your essential basic skills, practical insight and risk awareness in the safe removal of asbestos. You will be assessed on both theory and practice, with a focus on safe working. Participation requires a valid VCA diploma and a completed DAV-1 training.
