Whether you work with forklifts, perform gas measurements, operate aerial work platforms or supervise in confined spaces, we offer the certifications needed to perform your work safely and to the highest standards.

Working with a forklift truck

This qualification is for employees who take on the challenge of operating a forklift truck on a (petrochemical) industrial site, whether in installations, workshops or laboratories.
Duration of diploma: 5 years

Gas measurement

This qualification is for industrial employees who perform gas measurements on (petro)chemical industrial sites and interpret the measurement data with a keen eye.

Duration of diploma: 3 years

Working as an outside guard

This qualification is for employees who supervise colleagues working in a challenging confined space environment on a (petro)chemical industrial site.

Duration of diploma: 3 years

Working with an aerial work platform (1B, 3A, 3B)

This qualification is for employees who work on a (petro)chemical industrial site with an aerial work platform and must be well informed about its operation, functions and risks in accordance with SOG.

Duration of diploma: 5 years

Guiding loads

This qualification is for employees who independently attach and guide loads using a dynamic lifting device operated by a (crane) operator.

Duration of diploma: 5 years

Working with self-contained breathing apparatus

This qualification is for employees who perform work in an environment where the atmosphere is lower than SIR risk category B-31, and are aware of the associated risks.

Duration of diploma: 3 years

Working with a telehandler

This qualification is for industrial employees who use a telehandler on a (petro)chemical industrial site for lifting, aerial or hoisting work (<10 tonne-metres).

Duration of diploma: 5 years

Moving loads

This qualification is for employees who independently attach loads, transfer them from hook to hook and move them using hand hoisting equipment in factory installations and constructions.

Duration of diploma: 5 years

Flange connections (according to protocol)

This qualification is for industrial employees who open and close hazardous flange connections that must be secured safely according to protocol.

Duration of diploma: 5 years

Flange connections (with torque and tension equipment)

This qualification is for industrial workers who open and close flange connections according to protocol, using torque and tensioning equipment.

Duration of diploma: 5 years

Can you participate in the SOG Exams?

Participation is possible for candidates with a valid VCA diploma or an equivalent certificate. No VCA yet? No worries, with us you can easily obtain the diploma!

Examination agency recognized by SSVV

The SOG examination system is a service of SSVV. Only an SSVV-approved examination centre can issue a SOG diploma, and this is only official if it is registered in the CDR of SSVV.
